Join us on Thursday, May 20th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a virtual energy efficiency workshop for residents of Woodford County.
Attendees of this workshop will learn basic steps they can take to make their homes more energy efficient. An energy efficient home is a safer, healthier home, one that does not cost as much money to heat or cool.
Bluegrass Greensource is partnering with the Woodford County Library to provide this free, virtual workshop. All attendees to the workshop will receive a digital ticket that will entitle them to one free energy efficiency kit. These kits can be picked up from the Main Library. Once at the library, simply show your ticket to the main desk librarian during regular business hours, and they will get your kit.
These kits are awesome – you will definitely want one! Each kit includes: 4 LED light bulbs; 1 caulk gun and 2 tubes of caulk; 1 low-flow shower head; 2 sink aerators; 4 socket and light-switch sealing gaskets; 1 WiFi smart socket; and 1 solar charging power bank.
To be eligible to receive the kit, you must register for the workshop by calling John at (859) 873-5191 or CLICKING HERE to sign up.
If you are not able to attend the virtual workshop in-person, a recording of the event will be made available, but you must register for the workshop! To receive your kit if you do not attend the live session, you must watch the recording and take a brief survey afterwards.
Any questions about the workshop can be sent to Chris Porter at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling his cell phone 859-559-1527.
